Immediately after I came back from the Velo-city conference that took place at the end of June 2010 in Copenhagen, I started editing the pictures and videos I took during and after the conference.

The photo albums and videos (below) are meant to serve as "tools" for "Israel Bicycle Association" when communicating the ideas of "Bicycle Transportation" and the need for proper infrastructure and other issues to decision makers at all levels in Israel - Members of Parliament (The "Knesset"), Government officials and Ministers, Municipalities officials and Mayors, private sector businesses, employers, and ordinary people (the ones whom we want to cycle to work and other destinations).

During the conference, I met many NGOs who had similar problems like ours. Even more, I've learnt that even Amsterdam's and Copenhagen's cyclist's federations struggled during the 1970's to make the proper infrastructure for bicycles, but as Gil Penalosa said: "CPH has transformed itself in the last 40 years... - we don't have 40 years".

I hope the following photo albums and videos will serve for other NGOs around the world as tools to promote Bicycle transportation. Let me know if they were for any help.

Good Luck,
Eran Shchori
